Blades & Blowers LLC
Last Updated: September 17, 2026
Blades & Blowers LLC (“Blades & Blowers,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Pennsylvania limited liability company based in Franklin, Pennsylvania. We provide lawn mowing, leaf removal and snow removal. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit bladesandblowerspa.com (the “Website”) or contact us, how we use and share that information, and the choices you have. We keep this simple on purpose: we collect only what we need to answer your questions, give you estimates, and do the work you hire us for. We do not sell your personal information.
1. Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Website and through the emails, phone calls, and text messages that follow from it. It does not apply to websites, apps, or services operated by other companies, even if we link to them. If you sign a written service agreement with us, that agreement may contain additional terms about information related to the services we perform for you.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Give Us When you fill out the contact form on our Website, we collect the information you enter, which includes:
• Your name;
• Your email address;
• Your phone number, if you provide it; and
• The contents of your message, along with any other details you choose to include, such as your service address, the size or layout of your property, or a description of the work you need. We also collect the information you provide when you email us, call us, or text us, such as your contact details, service address, scheduling preferences, and billing information needed to invoice you. Please do not send sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, bank account or payment card numbers, or health information through the contact form or by email. We never need that information to respond to an inquiry.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically Like nearly every website, our Website automatically collects certain technical information when you visit. Our Website is hosted by Squarespace, and this information may include:
• Information about your browser, device, operating system, and network;
• Your IP address and the approximate location that can be derived from it (such as city, region, or country);
• The web page you visited before coming to our Website (the referring page);
• Pages you view on our Website and how you interact with them, such as clicks, internal links followed, scrolling, searches, and the date and time of your visit. We use this information to understand how visitors find and use our Website, keep the Website working properly, and protect it against spam and abuse. We do not use it to identify you personally.
2.3 Cookies and Similar Technologies Cookies are small pieces of data a website stores on your device. Our Website uses two general types:
• Necessary cookies. These allow Squarespace, our hosting platform, to securely deliver the Website to you. For example, Squarespace uses a security cookie that helps prevent cross-site request forgery. These cookies are required for the Website to function and cannot be switched off through our Website.
• Analytics and performance cookies. These help us see how visitors use the Website, such as the number of unique visitors, traffic sources, and which pages are viewed. Squarespace’s analytics cookies can remain on your device for up to two years unless you delete them. Analytics tools we may use, such as Google Analytics (described below), also rely on cookies. If our Website displays a cookie banner, you can use it to accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can also block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings, although some parts of the Website may not work as intended if you block necessary cookies. A current list of the cookies Squarespace places on the websites it hosts is available at support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001264507.
2.4 Google Analytics We may use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to better understand how visitors use our Website. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, the site that referred you, the type of device and browser you use, and your general geographic location. According to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses; it uses them only to determine approximate location. We use Google Analytics reports in aggregate form to improve our Website and do not use them to identify individual visitors. We do not currently use Google Analytics advertising features, such as remarketing or Google Signals. If we begin using those features, we will update this Privacy Policy first. We configure Google Analytics to keep user-level data for no longer than 14 months. To learn how Google uses information from websites that use its services, visit How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services (policies.google.com/privacy/partners).
2.5 Spam Protection (Google reCAPTCHA) Our contact form may be protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which helps tell real people apart from automated spam programs. reCAPTCHA works by collecting hardware and software information, such as device and browser data, and sending it to Google for analysis. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
2.6 Fonts and Embedded Content To display the Website correctly, our pages may load fonts from Google Fonts or Adobe Fonts. When this happens, those providers may receive your IP address, information about your browser and device, and the page you are viewing. If our Website includes embedded content, such as a map or a video, or links to our social media pages, the companies that provide that content may collect information about you according to their own privacy policies.
3. How We Use Your Information We use the information we collect to:
• Respond to your questions and requests;
• Prepare estimates and quotes and confirm whether your property is within our service area;
• Schedule, perform, and follow up on the services you request;
• Communicate with you about appointments, weather delays, route changes, and service updates;
• Send invoices, collect payment, and keep business and tax records;
• Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Website;
• Detect and prevent spam, fraud, and misuse;
• Comply with our legal obligations; and
• Protect our rights, property, and safety, and those of our customers and others. We do not use your personal information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
4. Emails, Phone Calls, and Text Messages
If you give us your phone number, you agree that we may call or text you at that number about your inquiry and about any services you request or receive from us, such as estimates, scheduling, arrival notices, weather delays, and billing. We will not send you marketing text messages unless you separately agree to receive them. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to any text message from us to stop receiving texts, or tell us by phone or email. We may send current and past customers occasional service-related or seasonal emails, such as reminders that snow removal or fall cleanup signups are opening. Every promotional email we send will explain how to opt out, and we will honor your request promptly. Even if you opt out of promotional emails, we may still contact you about services you have scheduled or received. Mobile information, including phone numbers and text messaging opt-in data, will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information, rent it, or share it with anyone for their own marketing. We do not share personal information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as described below:
• Website hosting provider. Squarespace hosts our Website, stores contact form submissions, and provides our website analytics. You can read how Squarespace handles data in its Privacy Policy.
• Analytics and security providers. Google provides analytics (if used) and spam protection services as described in Section 2.
• Business software providers. We use trusted providers for email, phone service, job scheduling and routing, estimates and invoicing, bookkeeping, and payment processing. These providers receive only the information needed to perform those functions for us.
• People who help us do the work. If we have employees or helpers, they receive the information needed to perform your service, such as your name, service address, and job details.
• Professional advisors. We may share information with our attorneys, accountants, and insurance providers when reasonably necessary, such as for tax preparation or to handle an insurance claim.
• Legal requirements and protection. We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that the law requires it, such as in response to a subpoena or court order, or when needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of our business, our customers, or others.
• Business transfers. If our business, or part of it, is sold, merged, or transferred, customer information may be transferred as part of that transaction. The new owner will be required to handle your information consistent with this Privacy Policy.
• With your permission. We may share information when you ask us to or give us permission, such as when you ask us to coordinate with a landlord or property manager.
6. Payments
Our Website does not collect payment card or bank account information. When you pay us, such as in person on the job or through an invoice, your payment is processed by a third-party payment processor under that processor’s privacy policy. We do not store full payment card numbers.
7. Photos of Our Work
We may photograph properties before and after we work on them to keep job records, confirm the quality of our work, and document existing conditions such as prior damage. We may also post photos of completed work on our Website or social media. When we do, we take reasonable steps to avoid showing house numbers, vehicle license plates, or people. If you would like a photo of your property removed, email info@bladesandblowerspa.com and we will remove it from the pages we control.
8. How Long We Keep Information We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. In general:
• Inquiries that do not become jobs are kept only as long as useful to respond and follow up, and we periodically delete inquiries we no longer need.
• Customer records, such as contact details, service history, estimates, and invoices, are kept for as long as you are a customer and afterward for as long as needed to meet tax, accounting, insurance, and legal requirements, and to resolve any disputes.
• Analytics data is kept according to the settings of our analytics providers, as described in Section 2. 9. How We Protect Information We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. Our Website uses encrypted HTTPS connections, access to customer information is limited to people who need it to do their jobs, and we protect our business accounts with security measures such as strong passwords and multi-factor authentication where available. No website, email system, or storage method is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you as required by applicable law, including Pennsylvania’s Breach of Personal Information Notification Act.
10. Your Choices and Rights
10.1 Access, Correction, and Deletion
You may ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, correct information that is inaccurate, or delete your personal information. To make a request, email info@bladesandblowerspa.com or call (814) 758-8717. We may need to confirm your identity before completing your request, and we will respond within 45 days. We may keep certain information when we are legally required to or have a legitimate business need, such as records of completed jobs and payments that we must keep for tax purposes. If we cannot fully honor a request, we will explain why.
10.2 Communications
You can opt out of promotional emails by using the unsubscribe instructions in the email or by contacting us, and you can stop text messages by replying STOP.
10.3 Cookies and Analytics
You can manage cookies through your browser settings or our cookie banner (if displayed), and you can opt out of Google Analytics using the browser add-on described in Section 2.4.
10.4 State Privacy Laws
Several U.S. states have comprehensive consumer privacy laws that apply to businesses meeting certain size or data-volume thresholds. Whether or not those laws apply to us, we make the rights described in Section 10.1 available to all of our Website visitors and customers. We do not sell personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or use it for profiling, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information through the Website. California residents may request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes; we do not make such disclosures.
11. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is no common industry standard for how websites should respond to these signals, our Website does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. Some browsers and extensions also offer Global Privacy Control (GPC), a signal that asks websites not to sell or share your personal information (globalprivacycontrol.org). We treat a GPC signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information; because we do not sell or share personal information in that way, no further action is needed on your part. Other than the service providers described in this Privacy Policy, such as Squarespace and Google, we do not knowingly allow other parties to collect personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use our Website.
12. Children’s Privacy
Our Website and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information to us, please contact us at info@bladesandblowerspa.com and we will delete it. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us on your behalf.
13. Links to Other Websites
Our Website may link to other websites, such as social media pages, review sites, or municipal leaf and yard waste pickup information. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
14. Visitors Outside the United States
Our business serves customers in western Pennsylvania, and our Website is operated in the United States. If you visit from outside the United States, your information will be processed and stored in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when we add a new tool to our Website or when the law changes. When we do, we will post the updated policy on this page and change the “Last Updated” date at the top. If we make material changes, we will also post a notice on our Website, and where appropriate we will notify customers by email, before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Website after the updated policy takes effect means the updated policy applies to you.
